Located near the heart of downtown Montreal, Studio 408 was created in early 2006 with the sole purpose of offering a simple, flexible and inexpensive alternative to the pro studio experience. We have helped dozens of local bands and artists produce their demos, pre-prods, EP's and full lengths, all with professional-like results. Our pricing philosophy seperates from the industry standard by offering a fixed, project related price rather than an hourly rate. This allows all our bands to record at their own pace without worrying about time constraints or paying more than they had planned. We are musicians above all else and are fiercely committed to providing the best recording possible, whether it is getting sent off to a major label or your first time in a studio. Most importantly, we maintain a classic DIY ethic: having fun, making friends and doing what you love!
