Out of the wreckage of Spiderworks Christopher Vigil stumbled. Dazed and raging, he roamed the streets in a fog - shaking his fist at the Universe and mumbling obsenities at memories, ghosts, and delusions. He moved to Los Angeles, earning a living by rebuilding homes damaged by the Northridge earthquake. He moved to Leadville, Colorado to build ski resorts which he could not afford to visit. He moved to Albuquerque to study Buddhism, earning a living by building cabinets and furniture. He attended the University of New Mexico, taking a graduate degree in American History by writing a thesis on the relationship between water use and political power in New Mexico. He now teaches at a private prepatory school in Albuquerque, where he has established a small studio/laboratory for doing what he is compelled to do - obsessively, compusively make noise.
The result is The 47th Star, an open, multi-media, music collective. If you are interested in joining The 47th Star for a collaboration, please feel free to make contact.
