'Were having a good time & you should rock out with us'!!!!
Bonjour!, We are 'THE 4GET ME NOTS', a South East Herts/North London based 4 piece Ska Punk band. We combine tuneful and often funny, every day themes with up beat catchy riffs that get stuck in your head for days. If you are able to see us live then you will see that there are some extremely heavy moments too! so be prepared for a massive thrashing sound!
The band are :
James Connolly on drums, who brings up beat punk with a lingering metal influence and a dry sense of humour to the band. But be warned don't play cards for money with him!!
Martin King on guitar and vocals, with his fast rhythm guitar style and sometimes thrash vocals is a true punk. He is always laughing and likes his music LOUD. (Ear plugs advisable)
Danny P plays a killer walking bass riff, that's if he's not shooting holes in his guitar with his air rifle. In case you don't know him, he is the one endlessly thrusting his bass and other things too.
Ben Sausman on guitar and vocals brings a steadier punk and older metal influence to our crunching sound and watch out for those classic bendy and fast rock solos. Along with Martin, Ben shares the vocals check out choir boy harmonies! Ben is happy go lucky guy who also has a great sense of humour.
When we aren't playing music we like drinking, gambling, beatin off and laughing (a lot!!), hitting various parts of each other with what ever is to hand and shouting at people out of car windows.

Described as: 'like Soulfly if Trent Reznor were part of the band,' their debut album "There's No Profit in Truth", mixes the pent up frustration of acts such as Rage Against The Machine with the raging, highly charged riffs of classic Machine Head. Good, honest, politically aware and highly charged Metal at its best...
We recently made Twenty Twenty promos and also a live video for Saving Aimee filmed at Camden Barfly. If you could spread the word about them, post the links in bulletins, comments, messages and however you can imagine that would be awesome!
