About me:
The BeatNicks are poet Nick Nero (Norman Reedus) and musician Nick Beat (Mark Boone Jr.), a pair of misfits with bad fortune looking for a gig. Their luck begins to change when they find a box on the beach, a treasure chest of infinite beats that will set the stage for the ultimate success, a gig at the Monkey Club. But when Nick Nero falls in love with Nica (Elodie Bouchez), the club's owner, Mack Drake's (Eric Roberts) captive bride, he learns there are some truths better left unsought. Hard knocks and a trip to rock bottom reunite the Nicks to perform the gig of a lifetime, and return the box to its source. Also featuring Hank (Patrick Bauchau) and B Cool (Jon Gries).

Angry Film Festival	Nov 25 2009 11:28 PM Entries are now open for the 2010 Angry Film Festival. For more details go to www.angryproductions.org and download an entry form. There is an early bird deadline until the end of November 2009 for all Australian entries of $15. After November it will go up to $25. The only criteria is that films must be under 15 minutes. The festival will run over two nights. One night will be dedicated to Australian short films and the second night will be dedicated to International short films. About the Angry Film Festival... "It is funny to think that this all started so that I could screen my first film THE ANGRY PENGUIN in front of an audience. This small film festival has now become an institution in the heart of Melbourne and is a great support to film makers who are trying to get their stuff screened in front of an audience.
