    The Brew House's Interests
GeneralSPACE 101 Gallery was formed by Brew House resident artist members to present a vibrant and diverse cross section of regional and national art. We strive to make contemporary visual arts accessible to everyone in the community by presenting a wide variety of exhibitions spanning all media and including artists in all stages of their career(s). Exhibitions have ranged from street-inspired multi-media works and figurative oil paintings to interactive sculpture and all things in between. Artists interested in exhibiting at SPACE 101 are invited to apply.

Barely Brunch Every third Sunday of the month, for several years, a group of people, of all ages, from all walks of life, have been coming together to work from the figure. Using various techniques and methods, participants hone their skills, capture the essence of the human form, relax, and enjoy themselves. They also look forward to the break when they can have a cup of coffee, a glass of juice, some refreshments, and socialize with the other people present that day. There’s often a sharing experience where the artists voice their mutual appreciation of the work.

What people have been whispering about is TRUE!
Strange sightings… Unexplained phenomena. . . scientific anomalies…
Squonk Opera will be responding to the cover-ups with…
ASTRO - RAMA!

With 3 stories of scaffolding and a 40 ft radio telescope,
Squonk Opera will take you on a wild visual and musical celebration of the universe and our place in it.

Part symphony, part cacophony, Astro-Rama dares to go where no
multi-media/theater/performance group has gone before.

Rising in scissor lift platforms and cherry pickers, Squonk will compose a proud message from our species,
power up and transmit.

Stand with us, and the truth will be revealed.

Pittsburgh, PA
at Schenley Plaza, Oakland
October 15-18, 2008

Weather permitting, all broadcasts begin at 8:00 p.m.,
are outdoors and are FREE for all bipedal primates!
