the sound of the ned in your head making you do the unthinkable, non medicinal tonics, surf, punk, garage rock, zombie movies, old school wrestling, ugly thoughts, second hand clothes, tramps, jakies and all the other important things in life.....
Sept 1st The Daily Record says,
"The Bucky Rage
Vote For Jesus
NOT since Glasvegas has an unsigned band caught my attention so quickly. The Bucky Rage are a manic surf band, sounding like The Monkees doing a zombie dance.
Their members include Philthy Collins on drums and vocals, Jimmy Mack and Haystacks on guitar and Lammy on "bass harrikarri". Headlock is The Cramps' Goo Goo Muck kicking sand in the face of the Fonz. Vote For Jesus begins with Stars and Stripes before inviting the B-52's in for a party.
Heartbreaker..1 is country Neil Young, Wiped Out is The Beach Boys hanging 10 on the Clyde and Jesse James throws heavy metal into the surf mix. Another Glasgow band pushing the envelope. Sonic liquid speed indeed.
Cheers, it was an exciting moment! I've got a broken Scalextric (one careful lady owner), and I'm looking to swap it for a ZX Spectrum with Manic Miner. Any takers? xx

Really sorry I can't be there, I'm out of the country and therefore missing at least 3 must-see gigs. The Bucky Rage being the most important of them, of course.
Have a good one. And remember: We're all damned. And that you're a Womble. (Actualy, I'm not sure if that's right. Haven't been getting much sleep lately.)
