I don't subscribe to any religious affiliation but I have alot of respect for the Dalai Lama.

I admire and also find humor in the New England Puritans for the dedication they showed in their religious life and moral and societal beliefs. The devil was behind every evil deed. Constant watch needed to be kept in order to stay away from his clutches! They sought to "purify" their lives through scripture.

Love all cats and every animal. Cosmology, drawing insects and fish, printmaking, etching, bookmaking, papermaking, sewing, making primitive dolls, early Americana, cross stitch, wax dolls, embroidery, calico and homespun fabric from early America, Early American folk art, attic dolls, and Victorian Post-mortem images. New England churches and graveyards, old dusty and torn Victorian dresses and skirts, bustles, aprons, lots of petticoats, tight corsets, calico fabric, just about any fabric, big shoes and boots, old quilts, new quilts. Berkshire Mountains and western MA. I have an obsession with the Founding Fathers, because they were so much smarter than myself and they would be very saddened by the state of the country they founded so many years ago. All Hail George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin et al.

The American pioneers and the sewing of early American flags.

Oddly reminiscent of bullet casings, the canisters are literal gravesites. Reacting with their ash inhabitants, the canisters are now blooming with secondary minerals, articulating new metallic landscapes.” — Geoff Manaugh, Contemporary

I love
NASA and National Oceanic Atmospheric and Administration pages. NASA and NOAA seem to be two examples of things our U.S. government actually does well.

I consider myself to be a Libertarian and I'm all for letting people do what they feel is necessary for them to do as long as it doesn't hurt anything else. But here are some of the things I don't want around me:

Circuses, guns, knives or any weapons, animal abusers, meat eaters, hunters, cigarette smoke, cell phones, celebrity and Hollywood/Rock star obsessed bottom feeders, noise pollution, the death penalty ( it stinks) people who quote from books they haven't read, like The Bible and then use those quotes to justify things like the death penalty.
