I listen to just about anything (including pop country if the girl is hot enough). I just recently discovered Dead Can Dance and completed ripping all of my classical CDs to mp3. The more unusual stuff I like includes bands like Runrig, Battlefield Band, Beat Crusaders, Cro-Magnons, and Boom Boom Satellites. I also have a special place in my heart for Texas Country (popified or not), movie soundtracks, and '80s music.
Here is a collection of ten songs I like to call my "Big in Japan" mix. Click the Play button to enjoy some phat sounds from Japan.
And then there is the offical band of the Funkywoodjam:
Television
Well we're between seasons right now so I am catching up on shows I have gotten turned on to recently including Veronica Mars, The Unit, and Slings and Arrows. Of course I am working through a couple of shows that the old DVR cached for me for those lonely nights Charlie Jade and the second season of Friday Night Lights being tops on that list.

So now you all know what particular flavor of jackass I tend to be, lets get on with the show. To start with I HATE writing about myself. For some reason I am very self-conscious about doing it. There are so many things these online profiles need to be. They need to demonstrate wit, perhaps of the self-deprecating sort, intelligence, and how "cool" you are. All of this while not coming off as too egotistical.
I like to think of myself as pretty witty, although some friends say I try too hard, and to be honest glib might be a better description.
Hey bud, long time no speak. What's up. Oh, plus - I'm more famous than you are now. Google me, I'm freaking awesome and getting better. My goal: Two full Google pages all filled with links that are actually about me on some level.
The sun finally came out in New England. It's going to be a great Friday. A Demon Awaits is coming out next week and I'm off to work on my new book while I get ready to get out and meet readers.
