everything you touch you destroy	Jul 5 2009 8:17 PM in the spirit of bill hicks... i wrote this... thought you might enjoy it ___________________________________________________ why is it that everyone feels the need to go out of town this weekend... to celebrate... what ? independence ? okay... so you all celebrate it by rushing out of town... getting drunk... and vomiting all of yourself as you pass out. i am sure that people that fought for our freedom then really had that in mind while they laid down their lives to ensure that our country survived... as you all drive out in your cars, polluting the planet in mass, eating your fast food as a herd, grouping together to blow shit up and pat yourselves on the back for being american... i wonder if the effort would be much better spent helping at least one of those homeless people that you drive past on your way to the liquor store... or maybe by volunteering for meals on wheels to take a disabled vet a fucking meal... maybe if our society looked inwards instead of replicating the stupid shit they see on tv, we might shit out a new idea of community instead of selfishness. fuck you people... my friends and i did not go to iraq so that you can go to the beach and tap the keg... you should all go wrap your cars around telephone post... or just take one massive swan dive off a cliff... like the little lemmings that you are. -me
