About me:
Well this is me, well us. We are James and Amy Middleton, a.k.a James & Ames, Jamie & Amy, Jamelia, the Mids.
In December 2006 we decided that we had enough of the rat race working for "The Bank" (which due to legal reasons cannot be named.... nah it's just a distant memory now). We decided to sell our home, quit our jobs and go on the adventure of a lifetime!
Yeah, it's the most scariest thing we have ever done, but we were born with adventure in our bones and just like our heroes the Goonies seeking the treasure we need to go on the adventure, brave the trials before we find our goal. We are just like a modern day, Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer. TWO FRIENDS LONGING FOR AN ADVENTURE...
Anyway we left London on the 20th of April 2007 for Boston, Massachusets. From there we travelled throughout the USA down to Los Angeles, using planes trains and automobiles. We then flew accross the Pacific for the first time to Fiji, toured North and South Island of New Zealand and finally Australia where we travelled up and down the east coast and finally settled in Melbourne, Victoria with our puppy Dalmatian Madiba. We both now work for ACS Fleet, James - National Fleet Sales Manager, Amy - Remarketing and Procurement Executive. We are blessed to live in the coolest city in the best country on earth. It's awesome!
WE can only credit this sense of adventure to one thing... Our GREAT BIG GOD! He is awesome and we owe Jesus our all. He made us this way so hey why kick against what you are. We love life, and we get a buzz from being us!
We love our family very much and we just appreciate who they are to us.... we love you Cooksey's, Lees, Mids, Smallman's. You are our rock on this earth! If you want to see all of our pics from travelling please check out the 'Pics'...

Who I'd like to meet:
Well first and foremost, our superhero, Jesus! We are who we are because of Him.
On earth, well Amy would like to meet Baz Luhrman and James would like to meet Luke Sywalker... although he doesn't really exist!
Oh yeah, we like meeting anybody that is fun and just lives life to the full potential of what God has given us. PEOPLE WERE GOD'S GREATEST IDEA!
Ok, so we are not the worlds most experienced travellers, but we have done a fair bit. Below the map hopefully will show you the places we have been, and the places we still have yet to catch flights to. The people we learnt most from was the Thai people, but the best holiday destination so far... MEXICO. Will that change, who knows. Live a little!
