I have been affectionately renamed.. Handy Randy....
Mostly because I am fortunate enough to be handy at a lot of different things... I can gut and renovate a home from top to bottom including running new wiring and putting down flooring wood, tile or other wise.... I have some decent talent as a decorator and have done homes in London, South Beach, Manila and many other cities..... I have been known to cook up a mean meal... I use to own my own restaurant (even thought it was part of our family hotel compound I felt it was mine cause I ran it all ) I have catered many parties up to 300+ people.. catered a few films, high school proms, Eastern Star, American Uniform and numerous other events... I am a fierce bargain shopper and good organizer when I want to be... I also love to garden, nude sunbathe, and a few other incidentals that I wont mention...
Music
My music favorites vary from one extreme to another... My number one duo will have to be Jason & Demarco and that's because their my friends and I have to give them props on being number one....Raul Malo (The Mavericks) are # 2 and that's cause hes married to my cousin Betty and he is amazing.... Roro and Josh Duffy are also friends so I put them on top as well... now for everything else... Madonna, Cher, Bach, Lime, Dixie Chicks... you name it...Snoop Dog, House, Disco, Pop, Urban, you name it....
Movies
I love going to the movies... almost as much as I like being in them hahahaahahah When I live in S.E. Asia I literally went to the movies every day seeing something different if I was not doing a gig.....
Chocolat is a very memorable one for me... I went to a preview screening in Manila, Phillipines when it first came out... Most Sci-Fi films... really good animation like Pixar films.... all sorts of stuff
Television
Turner Classics.... Cary Grant, Lana Turner, Marlena Dietrich, etc.... HGTV of course.... Brothers & Sisters, Grey's, Desperate Housewives, old Dynasty reruns, Scooby Doo cartoons, Wonder woman, etc
Books
Sex and All You Can Eat... because my Godmother wrote it in the 70's and its tight!!!!!
Anything from the Lestat Chronicles from Anne Rice..
Really good novels that take you into the story and you feel as if your one of the characters....
Heroes
My mom............ because she survived when her mom left her at an orphanage because she wanted to live her rich life and not have to take care of any kids.. because she survived the 20+ years of mental and physical abuse of my father to give us an expensive roof over our heads... because she survived thyroid cancer... because she survived her 2nd husband leaving her while she was recovering from cancer surgery and taking off with all her money ...because she picked herself up sold her furs, jewelry, cars, and homes to move on with her life....because she accepts me for who I am unconditionally.............
