Writing is my first love and my passion; I also love music, dance and all types of performing arts, spending time with my children, spending time with my loved ones and most importantly, spending time alone with God!

I am also proud of the fact that I took part in a small part of the Civil Rights Movement, as I marched in Washington, DC three years in a row as a student at Howard University to help make Martin Luther King Jr,'s Birthday a national holiday in the early 80's.

OLD SKOOL all the way, particularly the Temptations and the Motown sound, such as Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Ronnie McNeir, The Four Tops, Lenny Williams, Patti LaBelle, Luther Vandross, etc... THE TEMPTATIONS movie, 'RAY', all the 'FRIDAY' movies with Ice Cube, any gansta movie - The Godfather, Scarface (this is the CLAASIC), The Untouchables, Hoodlum, Sugar Hill, New Jack City, Goodfellas... if it's gangsta I'm with it!!
Also, Family Reunion, Diary of a Mad Black Woman, and ALL of Tyler Perry's plays and movies... he is BLESSED!
Television
Don't watch TV much - it usually ends up watching ME! But when I do watch, LAW & ORDER CSI is my show!! Also Forensic Files, COPS, City Confidential... and all the stupid stuff that comes on BRAVO (Top Chef, Project Runway, Kathy Griffin, Real Housewives of Orange County)... how much more fluff can they possibly put on?!?
