and Also i think i'm gonna do this Turbo-trainer thing at Cycle-ops in tonbridge (heard about this?) Its 1minute solid cycling sprints on a turbo-trainer bike (back wheel on a stand, that thing)

i was tearing it up... was in the overall lead for part of it too.
They reversed the cours and it was so much more fun, but it was so wet and slidey so my poor lil racing tyres were skidding like a bitch....

aha omg, not your own friend.. shocking...
yeah, i rode my old Answer pro-tapers at full-length for months, then got an inch taken off either side and it made such a big difference... so much easy to X-up and cause my arms were more below me it made big-drops easier to land and absorb with my arms...
ooh i was daring yesterday, and well, i'm now riding SPD's! aha, only fallen off about 20 times! but seriusly, i love it, you can go so much faster and you feel one with the bike!
