The Retro Youth Café is one of only a few Youth Cafes in Australia currently and takes on a different model to Drop in Centres in providing a space for youth. The Retro Youth Café has enjoyed increasing support and utilisation of the space by youth over the last 5 years, with the Friday night gigs becoming an important end to the week for Border youth.
The Retro takes great pride in giving new and upcomming bands a head start and gives them a place to perform for free and to create a fan base.
..This should never be overlooked or taken for granted.. because its what the Retro wants to provide to the local youth :D
