In recent years The Ride has developed into a unique and powerful improvisational rock quartet. They have been performing ever increasingly at numerous venues and clubs throughout the Northeast. The lineup: guitar (Jesse Colognesi), bass (Davis Thurston), and drums (Evan Honsberger), weaves elements of improvisation, rock, and dance music to create their infectious sound, and have been steadily gaining recognition throughout the music community. The Ride was conceived in 2002 but did not take its true form until the fall of 2004. Since then the band has played hundreds across the Northeast. In the spring of 2007, The Ride added long-time friend Davis Thurston on bass. They are currently in the midst of relentlessly playing music, allowing their definitive sound to evolve both quickly and naturally. The Ride remains focused on their electrifying live performances; dedicated to keeping each and every show captivating and powerful.

Yo just a reminder you can still buy tickets online to our CD release party this saturday in Boston! It is at Harpers Ferry and will feature three massive sets from The Brew, plus special guest star Bobby Read (Bruce Hornsby and Keller Willams). Our new CD "Back to the Woods" will be available for the first time. This is the most important show The Brew has ever played so we hope to see you kick ass peeps out there.
