Reading, writing, movies, video games, music, good TV , politics, history, current events, sports, pool/darts, but always looking to expand my horizons
Music
anything hard rock/alternative and/or anything melodic. Creed, GNR, Metallica, Social Distortion, Green Day, Offspring, Soundgarden but also admit to enjoying Pink Floyd, Billy Joel, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr, and Neil Diamond. They fuck you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.
But they were fucked up in their turn
By fools in old-style hats and coats,
Who half the time were soppy-stern
And half at one another's throats.
Man hands on misery to man.
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
Get out as early as you can,
And don't have any kids yourself.
Movies
Anything with a good story, decent acting and a satisfying ending.
Black Hawk Down, Unforgiven, Gladiator, Shawshenk Redemption, Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs, JFK, Any Given Sunday, and Contact are some great ones that come to mind.
I will write a major motion picture screenplay
Television
HBO up until recently. I'm a CSPAN2 and news junkie. Ok, I watcha few reality shows too. Thanks God for DVRs so I don't waste precious time watching TV and can watch them when there's nothing else to do
Books
Borders and Amazon.com are two of my best friends
Heroes
My father, Francis H D......., my brothers Joe, Rob and Lee...the late Colonel (Ret) David Hackworth and John Paul Vann, William Tecumsheh Sherman, George Patton, JFK...

About me: Loyal, intelligent, friendly, sarcastic and sometimes shy are words that describe me. I'm both compassionate and stoic when I need to be. I've got a good sense of humor...well, good if you don't mind that I'm easily amused. Honest to a fault...
Who I'd like to meet: 2004 or 2007 Red Sox, a living President so I can ask him what to expect. Oh, and my future wife.

I just wanted to reach out to you and wish you a very Happy New Year. I have already broken my initial New Year's Resolution, so my second resolve is to be more friendly and productive with all of my MySpace friends. I hope you have a wonderfully blessed week and feel free to leave me a comment letting my know how you are doing this year thus far.
