My top interest are my kids. Outside of my home I love going to the movies and hanging out with friends. I LOVE musical theatre. If I could do college all over again I would have gone into musical theater instead of music education. Don't get me wrong, I love teaching but I also love performing. I just didn't realize how much I loved it until recently. Speaking of performing, I sing with the Angeles Chorale here in L.A. About me: I'm a musician. I have a degree in Music Education with an emphasis on voice, but I also taught instrumental music. I taught in the public school system for 9 years, but now I am staying home with my kids. I am married to a wonderful man that puts up with me and my frequent hormonal induced mood swings and I have 4 sons: twins Mark and Matthew that passed away shortly after birth, a 4 1/2 year old, and 3 year old. I FINALLY have a little girl. She was born on January 6, 2006. I have never been happier in my life. Though I have been an educational professional for many years but I have always wanted to stay at home and raise a family. I am so happy that I'm finally at that stage in my life where I can do that. I just have to get used to not spending $$ like I used to. But it's all worth it.
In addition to being a stay at home mom I sing in the Angeles Chorale under the direction of Donald Neuen. We primarily perform Masterworks and Oratorio. Recently 50 of us in the group were contracted by Two Steps From Hell and Immediate Music to record movie trailer music. Our vocals are in clips of the new Spiderman III, Pirates III, and Next trailers.
