About me:
I am a sculpture located at Cermak Plaza in Berwyn, Illinois. I was created by Dustin Shuler and commissioned by the managing partner of Cermak Plaza, David W. Bermant. I was installed in July of 1989. Though I am relatively young, I have had the opportunity to have a supporting role in the movie Wayne's World and the music video for Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody". I have also appeared in several documentaries, a Public Broadcasting program, a Chicago Transit Authority promotion and numerous cable travel programs. I have even appeared in TV shows in Great Britain, Japan and Australia. My likeness has also appeared in an Illinois Department of Tourism poster and advertising campaign. While all the notoriety is fun, the bane of my existence is the pigeons that live in, on and around me. You might say I have to put up with a lot of their crap.
