Faster louder reviewed our gig with eddy current supresion ring at the prince of wales band room and I am glad they said what they did coz they don't have a clue. The reviewer didn't put their name down so here is what they said. First up was Warragul’s The UV Race. Quite frankly, the less said about them the better. Playing short, frenetic punk noise, their set was a mess of unnecessarily odd mid-song tempo changes and pointless backing vocals that were further dragged down by the most unengaging and apathetic lead singer I have ever seen. Looking and sounding like a drunk karaoke performer, he mumbled and stumbled his way across the stage. Fortunately, after twenty minutes the set was over and it was time to move on to the next act, Melbourne four-piece, The Exotics http://www.fasterlouder.com.au/reviews/events/19909/Eddy-Current-Suppression-Ring-The-Exotics-The-UV-Race--The-Prince-Melbourne-200809.htm
The uv race is having october off from gigs. We have been playing a fair few shows and we have some coming up in September. We also have two members who have their thesis due in october for their honor studies. So keep that in mind when asking us to play a gig in october. From Marcus

So Moses the uv race deciple and bass player of the uv race told me to change this part coz it's very out dated. Well this page should be a music page but it's a personal one coz i didn't realsie there was a difference when i started and now im comfy in it so it's staying this way. We are not as new any more we have been playing for a year and a half now or a bit over and we have a vinyl album coming out in a couple of months and we are also on a compilation that arrght records did with an american label. The compilation is called the real worlds lousy with ideas vol 7 it has other australian bands including super wild horses and eddy current supression ring thats off the top of my memory. We have some gigs coming up and i put gigs in the blogs so look in there so you know about them. So come along to our gigs and have some fun. Is this what you wanted moses ? i hope you like it. The 7 inch is nearly sold out so if want one get one. I should also say the song on this profile is by the uv race and we play proto punk music from Marcus
