HOLLIE-
Hollie earned her Bachelor’s of Music degree in Music Education from Appalachian State University. She has been a music educator for over 10 years in North Carolina and South Carolina. She has performed as a lead vocalist in many private party and club settings with various groups over the past 3 years. She also has extensive performance experience as a saxophonist in various jazz and rock groups, as well as with the Charlotte Philharmonic Orchestra. Hollie’s influences include: Ella Fitzgerald, Sheryl Crow, Edie Brickell, Gwen Stefani, Ann Wilson, Melissa Ethridge, Shirley Manson, Amy Lee, and Allison Krause.
PAUL-
Paul earned his Bachelor’s of Music degree in Music Education with a Classical Guitar emphasis from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He has been a music educator for over 11 years. He has been playing rhythm and lead guitar in bands for over 19 years with extensive performance experience throughout the Greensboro and Raleigh areas. Paul’s influences include: Al DiMeola, Jake E. Lee, Andres Segovia, Steve Howe, Pat Matheney, Russ Freeman, Sharon Isbin, and Alex Lifeson.
HENRY-
Henry earned his degree in Music Education from The University of South Carolina. He is a classical bass player, classical guitarist and school orchestra director. A more detailed bio is coming soon!!
JASON-
Jason has been an active percussion performer in the Spartanburg area for many years. He has also been the percussion instructor and composer with Spartanburg County Schools and a private percussion instructor for over 12 years. Jason’s influences include: Marshall Tucker Band, Neil Peart, Bobby Blotzer, Billy Cobham and Kevin John Grace.
The Accentrix offer a variety of music:
a 4 piece Rock Band, a 4 piece amplified acoustic rock band, a 2-3 piece acoustic combo, and a Jazz Duo (guitar/sax/vocal) covering jazz standards.
The Accentrix can adjust their style to perform under many genres including: Classic Rock, Blues, Hard Rock, Acoustic Rock, Grunge, Southern Rock, Folk, Singer/Songwriter, and more. Just look at the variety of songs on the basic set lists for an idea of the wide range of styles covered by the band. We also offer The Accentrix Acoustic, a 2-4 piece group in more of an acoustic rock/folk rock genere for smaller venues.

Pretty much anything from classic rock to jazz, 80’s hair bands to bluegrass. However, we prefer rock and roll mostly. Some of our favorites are: Steely Dan, New Grass Revival, Al DiMeola, Sheryl Crow, Yes, Rush, Led Zeppelin, Ella Fitzgerald, Jake E. Lee, Nancy Wilson (Heart), Pat Benetar, Garbage, Allison Krause, The Marshall Tucker Band, Melissa Ethridge, James Taylor, Queensryche, The Beatles, Geoff Tate, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Van Halen, Evanescence, beautiful sunsets, and good times! :)

The Accentrix is a female-fronted band with a unique sound. Their original music is written from the heart, from life experiences. And it will move you, literally. You will have a musical experience with the powerful vocals and instrumental prowess of the band members. The Accentrix love to play and they are all really good friends. The band performs original and cover material and can cater to a wide varitey of audiences. The Accentrix play many different different venues including festivals, restaurants, and clubs. "THE ACCENTRIX ACOUSTIC" consists of the two founding members and offers lighter acoustic sets to accommodate smaller venues.
