THE ACCOLADE play a style rooted in Rock & Roll, Country, Blues and Skiffle. The young Bournemouth four-piece formed in 2005 and have since turned heads with memorable pop songs that offer a satisfying dose of retro authenticity. This is alt-country with an upbeat and distinctly British edge.
For those of you who already know us or have recently paid us a visit, you may have noticed that we’ve been through a bit of a quiet spell of late. Don’t despair! We are not dead, nor have we settled into proper jobs, but plan on making lots more music together in the not too distant future.
In the meantime, please check out the new demos recorded July 2008.
Please contact the band directly if you would like to purchase either of our two CDs, or for any other info.
The closing date for entries is November 28, at which point the public will then be asked to vote for their favourite band.
The winning act will then be featured in the Echo as they make the most of their prize at Room With a View and their song will be posted online at bournemouthecho. co. uk.
If your free this firday please come and support us at the Metropole, B'mouth. Its FREE entry, open till 3am and cheap drinks. Hope you can make it, its gonna be a rocktastic partying night! Oh yeah!
