   About The Accomplices
Scott Haycock, the Jimmy Stewart-ish one, and John Morris, the Burt Lancaster-y one, have been playing and recording music together since the previous millennium. Teaming with Perdition Records mogul and No Depression Contributing Editor Roy Kasten (the vanilla Sidney Poitier), they have produced a debut album--epic yet concise, serene yet buoyant, easy to listen to but hard to figure out--which roams through most of the popular music styles through which the roaming's still good. The album features guest performances from some of St. Louis' finest roots musicians, including members of the Bottle Rockets, Magnolia Summer, and Nadine. Lovely, tuneful, wholesome and delicious and NOW AVAILABLE by clicking on an icon nearby -- and at DECATUR CD and WUXTRY in Decatur GA and at EUCLID RECORDS in Webster Groves MO.

Order online through Perdition Records & PayPal! $14 (shipping included)

John and Scott, the Accomplices, are two fine, sober fellows and a testament to the sterling character of today's young people. The music they make is of a "modern" character, not well suited to my admittedly old-fashioned tastes, but they pursue it with such integrity and passion that I am sure it must be quite good in its own way. I hope to see these fine boys should they ever make their way down to Texas again.
