BIOGRAPHY
The Acidophiles is the musical vision of Colorado based producers Zachariah Rachid and Amandha Gilson, accompanied in the live setting by dancers and visual performer Kristina Hughes. Together, these four achieve a raw energy rarely reached in the realm of electronic music.
It is now the time, when music lovers from almost all subcultures and genres, are finding common ground in the electronic music scene, and The Acidophiles are giving the people what they want: Roaring baselines, bangin' beats, trance inducing build-ups, blended together and guaranteed to start a frenzy on the dance floor and leave the audience begging for directions back to reality. And the people would agree. Since their debut, headlining, sold-out show at Fort Collins' local Aggie TheatRE in Nov 2009, The Acidophiles have sold out over a dozen 800+ shows and have opened for some very popular upcoming electronic acts.
