We’re throwing a joint LAUNCH PARTY for our new record label, barhouse records, & the first ever release, Tribe, by Cat House.

Music on night will be a mix of the sounds you can expect to hear coming from the record label.
We have the rhythmic infused pop of Cat House playing live, which includes a performance of their release TRIBE.
There is also a very special garage dj set from Chelmsfords man of the moment - ESSER, plus live SKA from NEW TOWN KINGS!
Plus barhouse resident djs VOID COLLECTIVE are also on hand to provide a loving mix of funk, disco, house, indie and bass driven grooves.

We also have a very special guest in the shit hot producer & DJ, Alex metric.
Alex was voted producer of 2007 by Eddie Temple Morris and has gone on to produce ADAM FREELANDS new album on Marine Parade. As well as remixes under his belt for the likes of Infadels, Stanton Warriors, Hard Fi, Autokratz & Cassius he also has remixes coming out for Ladyhawke & Primary 1/ The Shoes. Alex is also about to have his very first show on RADIO 1!!.
Look out for his new EP out in April, with an album to follow in September.

    Welcome to INCOMING!

A currently ropey MySpace page for Midlands bands only.

The point is to use this page to advertise your gigs, wears and to keep in touch with other likeminded bands in the area without feeling like a complete arse for filling fan pages with junk mail. You know who you are!.

Promotions companies may also join so that if they're looking for bands to play a venue in the Midlands, all they have to do is visit this page for local bands to choose from and they have a full spectrum of sounds.

So if you're a new, up and coming talent in the midlands, whether you're a generic Indie band or Cock Rock band get your name down on the list!!!!!

    Thankyou for listening

    Paul, you are living legend!

Thank you so much for all your endeavours; they are appreciated by all muso's and performers.

I was a Johnny-come-lately to the Acoustic Rooms, but the venues I've played and the people I have met have been fabulous.

You worked hard to keep this project going my friend and for me your efforts are appreciated. Folk are often unaware of the work that goes on behind the scenes and you have worked hard for musicians, punters and venue owners to get the best for all concerned.

Like I have said, you are legend and if there was any justice in the world, worthy accolades would be piled on your doorstep for your services to the music and entertainment industry.

Good luck in Leeds! They don't know what is coming their way, but when you get established, they will surely value you and your acoustic music.

    Keep the faith my friend,

    Gazza
