Recently, the Adult Bookstore finished recording an album. They used the following instruments: guitar, bass, drum kit, baby grand piano, vocal cords, cornet, inferior crown, melodic, chroma-harp, egg shaker, tambourine, Rhodes, Yamaha organ, Korg Triton, rain and birds. These instruments were all played by Bookstore, too, except the rain and birds, which were played by Lil’ Wayne and Delta Goodrem, irrespectively. The noises emitted were committed to byte and balanced and manipulated by Matt Hills at his home studio. A diverse and bold baby was born, of which we are very proud. It has no face, its internal organs are jumbled, but it is arriving.
Much like Suri Cruise, this baby will be groomed and polished, and given media training, before being unveiled. It is also possibly the antichrist, and derived from L. Ron Hubbard’s seed. It will probably (definitely) be given a somewhat offensive name that we find funny and everyone else finds distasteful.
The songs are about, in part: the existential angst affiliated with job hunting, psychokinetic murder and the equal complexity of all numbers; chivalrous, though dormant, bloodlust and a crestfallen reaction to your societal peers and their patriarchal persuasions; intestines, patience and sleeping aides; insomnia and an all-pervading sense of stasis; thoughts on why a particular new age self-help paradigm is, whilst pretty bullshit, something to think about; finding your life analogous to rotting apricots; further repressed bloodlust and musings on the origins of violence; how a cipher fucked shit up, and attending your own wake; the desire to be and/or encounter space creatures, but also the possibility they might be just blobs; the anthropomorphism of loose paper which has been inscribed with after-the-fact retaliations, and erasers, and the fierce battle waged between the two; further anthropomorphism of a tablecloth, and stigmata; and Sir Bedivere, the last of the knights of the round table, others’ worrying needs for the projection of wealth and how this stems from our ancestral predilection for shiny things.
Enjoy a taste test of the album above. Wait with baited breath for it to touch your life. It is coming very soon.

'Twas lovely to see you the other day young Tim :-) And a cordial hello to the rest of you "dudes". Things are sounding and looking sweet, by that I mean your tunes and poster, sincere kudos from my holy humbleness. Let me know if you ever want me to open a show of yours. Mars Volta are amazing, you're silly for talking about Neighbours, however Harold's rock quotient may soon go up to 1,000,000 'cause rumour has it that he nailed that Julia Zamiro (whatever her name is) from Rockwiz! That was after he had his way with Win Wang that newsreader (alas poor Jonty)...peace. Luca S&
