The Aeon Saga was formed in the winter of 2007
in Holyoke MA when six young musicians came
together and shared a particular vision to not just
write songs, but stories as well. The Aeon Saga’s
sound is distinctively dynamic, possessing vicious
heavy metal riffs coupled with bluesy/hard rock
grooves, married with the ambiance of piano, and
classical/celtic interludes of clean and pure tones.
With over 75 years of combined experience each
member has been involved in various other projects
and come from various musical backgrounds. Though,
never have they been able to combine hard driving
rhythms, dark vengeful harmonies, interweaving
melodies, pure anger, and unadulterated love into one
cohesive sound until now.
On Halloween 2008 The Aeon Saga released their
EP, ‘Author’s Foreword,’ recorded at Stillwork
Studios with the expertise of producer and engineer
Benjamin Jon. The band’s first release has garnered
the acclaim of fans and of Hartford CT radio station,
106.9 WCCC. With this release backing them, The
Aeon Saga has taken the stage in force, and are always
playing a steady string of shows in the North East US.
2009 proves to be a pivotal year for The Aeon Saga.
Always writing new material, the band is getting
geared up to expand to venues all along the east coast.
