The Aerials are no longer, some say they didn’t even exist, others who claim to have saw the band live have long since been sectioned. I, on the other-hand, did indeed witness the events of yesteryear, and as a free standing citizen of the state can confirm, they were a band, it isn’t a myth, they DID exist!! Their music was/is unique and to this day still stands on it’s own, fresh and pure as the driven snow, a riotously eclectic mix of Rock, Pop and Soul...It was how they delivered it live that made them the truly unique outfit they were.
No-one knows exactly why they are no longer, perhaps the beast was bigger than the individuals could cope with, maybe they are treading on different paths but for that brief encounter, God only knows...one thing IS for certain....to this day, in many peoples hearts and minds, they remain the Greatest band in the world never!
