   About The Agency

Mike Marsh and Klaus Ketelhohn formed The Agency in the summer of 1994 with a rotating cast of bass-players until Mike met Chris Drueke at a party in October 1995. From that point on The Agency had its first solid line-up and began playing South Florida clubs like Cheers, ClubQ, and Fubar. In 1997 they recorded their first CD "Rock to the Apocalypse" which did wonders for their popularity. In 1999 they did their first national tour with the Grey A.M. The Agency truly realized and tightened up their sound on that tour. They came home and recruited Chris Carrabba (Vacant Andys/Dashboard Confessional) on second guitar. In November 1999 they began recording "Engines" for Fiddler Records for a grand cost of $2500. The recording, through a frenzied pace, was able to capture much of the bands energy and live sound. Carrabba's schedule with his other band Further Seems Forever began to conflict with the Agency, so Carrabba left and Joe Williams joined. After about six months and an east coast tour, Williams left and was replaced by John Owens (Vacant Andys/Seville). Due to family tragedy and poor tours, the Agency ran out of steam in early 2001. Mike joined Dashboard Confessional, and Mike, John and Chris with Dan Bonebrake went on to form Seville. Seville lasted in some form or another until 2003. The Agency reformed in April 2003 to perform a reunion show. Mike, Chris and Klaus realized that they still had a strong desire to play and write music together, so at the end of 2004 they began recording "Turn." The writing, recording, and mixing process took some time due to Mike's schedule with Dashboard Confessional, but the CD looks to be released by February 2007

dOOds! What news?

Nothings been happenning here for yonks... And yes, that is a real measurement of time...

Yeah, something like Time is seconds by the time it is now divided by the last time you checked the time before the time you just checked the time now...

...
...
...

Thats probably why no-one uses that time scale...

*ahem*

8-9 year ago one of my friend who studied in California, back in İstanbul with your record (not a record, mostly like a mix tape with your Engine term) Latter he forgot the tape in my car and ı've listened that album about three years non-stop; until my car is burned down. İn that term ı had just three album in my car: Bastards from Motorhead, yours and some kind of semi blank casette with one Springsteen song "I'm goin' Down"- Street was thin and firefighters couldn't reach the car somehow. Next day ı searched my car to found something useful: one of is your record with no harm and other one is some Boris Vian novel ( I can't recall the name of the book now.)I don't belive things like all the things in the universe is connecting in basic terms or something like that. But ı belive music can reach too deep, too weird parts of the nature/circumstances and can capture the air, moment and...whatever. so thanks for the fire without a reason anyway. Take care.
