Founded by Louis Coates (formerly Screamin' Daemon) and David Perrin (The Skag Beetles) in 1998.
Their other bands got busy, Agonyst efforts were archived.
Efforts were revived and extended by Louis, Matt Hoban (formerly Gorerotted) and Ben Hiscoke (fomerly Subvert, Iamben) in 2006.
Zac O'Neil (formerly Extreme Noise Terror) completed the band in 2007.
Ben left and was replaced by David who rejoined in that same year.
Debut album 'Centennial' was completed in 2008.
Agonyst continues to perform, write and record. Book us and buy our stuff.
