The AIM is a French-Belgian power trio, created by Guillaume Corpard (composer-songwriter) in 2007. Gilles Servais (Drums) and Axel Marcelis (Bass) join him around the same philosophy, distilling a "English-style" pop with serious rock accents. The Aim testifies of the world which surrounds us, with its texts sometimes committed (Tibet, the anti-globalization, the ecology), sometimes spiritual or intimist.
Since 2007, the group releases with energy its melodious rock on the Belgian and French stages, where it meets a clear success. Having worked in France with Philippe Cabon (sound engineer of French Rock band Noir Désir, Bashung...), The AIM signs with Rox Records and Capricorn TV the production of its first album "EMERGENCY ", mixed and masterised by Roland De Greef. We discover it the high quality of writing of G. Corpard, who proposes 11 titles.

Het trio The AIM is opgericht in 2007 en bestaat uit een drummer, een gitarist en een bassist die zich gevonden hebben in een pure expressie van Anglo Saxon rock/pop muziek.
Vier nummers van deze nieuwe band zijn opgenomen door de bekende Philippe CABON (geluidstechnicus van Noir Desir, Bashung, Bjork, Patti Smith, Iggy Pop etc.) in een studio van Radio France. Deze jonge band was ook graag geziene band op Belgische en Franse fesitvals in de afgelopen paar jaar. "The AIM" speelde onder andere op Francofolies SPA, Saint Raphaël Festival (France), Fiesta City Festival, ROCK for TIBET Festival, ARTEZIK, Little Rock Festival, Brussels Summer Festival, Sumvalley Festival, WolfRock II Festival and the ONLY French Festival (PARIS)...
In oktober 2008 brengt de band hun eerste plaat uit met de titel eMERGENCY onder het label van MOONZOO en gedistribueerd door Universal.

Le groupe rock franco-belge The AIM se forme en 2007. Il s'unit autour d'une pop « à l’anglaise » aux relents rock. Quatre titres de ce nouveau groupe ont déjà été enregistrés sous l'oreille attentive de Philippe Cabon (Ingé son de Noir Désir, Bashung...), dans les studios mobiles de Radio France.
Sélectionné par plusieurs festivals belges et français en 2008-2009, The AIM a libéré ses titres sur les scènes des FRANCOFOLIES de SPA, FIESTA CITY Festival, le SPIRIT of 66', le ROCK FOR TIBET Festival, ou encore BRUSSELS SUMMER Festival, ONLY FRENCH Festival à La Boule Noire (Paris), etc.
Signé par le label MOONZOO MUSIC et distribué par Universal, le premier album du groupe « EMERGENCY » a vu le jour en novembre 2008. Questionnements philosophiques, politiques, interrogations spirituelles, voilà quelques sujets tissant les chansons de leur premier album.
