The Seventy One Percent EP was written and recorded from spring to winter 2007. The product of countless hours, unrelenting scrutiny, and the loss of one member, the band decided to release the finished instrumental tracks in March 2008. The Alaya Conscious is currently writing new material as a trio and will be performing live this summer.
i was wondering how your stuff would translate to the stage, and i was completely impressed. a lot of people afterward were going around asking "who was that band??"
the rhythm section live was super tight, and the guitar was a ton of fun to watch (being a guitarist and all)
the musicianship was incredible, and your stage presence rocked. i'll definitely be coming to as many shows as i can, bringing anyone that has an even remote interest in instrumental music
you guys were the only band i came for and saw, but it was definitely worth the 8 bucks. i didn't get a chance to grab a demo, but what can you do
