The Alibi are based in Bournemouth, UK and are available to book for pubs, clubs, festivals and private functions such as corporate events, weddings and birthday parties.
The band consists of a male singer, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass guitar and drummer. We come with two sound engineers, and all of our own, top-of-the-range sound equipment.
We play rock and roll covers, ranging from The Rolling Stones, to Ocean Colour Scene and Paul Weller, through to Franz Ferdinand and The Killers, not forgetting lots of popular classics along the way. Our typical show consists of two, roughly 45 min sets with a short break. But can accommodate any length of performance needed.
The Group were formed in the mid 90s by Dylan Brown and Sean Mathews. After a few changes here and there, The Alibi as we know it soon became one of Bournemouths hottest bands, playing all the top venues, and gaining a strong following. After a period of hibernation, and more reshuffling The Alibi arrive at today. With Lee Webb brought on board on the bass guitar, The Alibi are back appearing all over Dorset, and rocking harder than ever!
