THE ALIVE formed in 2005 in Reading, England, three guys and a girl with a simple desire to create big, honest, aggressive rock n' roll with an uplifting soulfulness and a hefty swagger. Since then the band has joyously laboured the length and breadth of the UK in an old groundworks van, playing anywhere with a plug socket and 18 square feet of floor. With songs about love, psychopaths and the A34, The Alive strive to revive the basic philosophy of what it is to be a great band-punchy songs delivered with passion and a heartfelt ardour.
The Alive have released three EPs with a fourth scheduled for August 2008. They know that the only way is the hard way, and the most important thing is to just enjoy the ride. Catch them at a show in the near future-you won't be disappointed.

Neat, eh? For sure. It got played on the radio and that kinda thing, so it can't be that bad, and Artrocker said nice things about it.
