We offer Seattle's best opportunity to hear all original live music by local singer/songwriters. We present a huge variety of styles including rock, folk, acoustic, jazz, blues, country, classical, alternative, and world music every Friday night. The space is a separate "listening room" for your coffee, pastries, and musical enjoyment. There is no cover charge and you can come in at any time during the evening to check out what's going on. This is an all-ages venue so everyone is welcomed.

Here's a video that was captured of me offering my bottleneck slide interpretation of an old blues song, Goin' T' Brownsville, on open mic night at Old Strokers in Everett, WA. It starts out with me briefly introducing my homemade "Nobro" resophonic guitar and explaining some of the various recycled garage sale junk that I used in it's construction. Enjoy!
I've played at your house during the U District Street Fair! Here's some great news to share. The YouTube video of my song "Wall Street Bail Out Blues"
caught the interest of Wall Street Journal writer Rob Tomsho. He interviewed me on Jan. 20th, Inauguration Day and the story he wrote, "No Dough in the Do Re Mi", featuring songwriters who have written songs about our tough economic times, made the cover of the WSJ on Friday, February 6th, 2009. His article continues on page A8 where a photo of me is included. Yep, 2 million people saw my picture in the Wall Street Journal. Here's a link to the online article.
I was surprised that they used such a large photo of me for the online version of the article but even more surprised that I was mentioned me right after Neil Young. Woody Guthrie's work is also mentioned in this piece. Being included in an article with so many other performers of such note makes this bit of press extra nice.
