ASAVIOUR
Huddersfield born Emcee /Producer Asaviour aka Savvy has single handily cemented himself as one of the strongest artists within the UK Hip Hop scene today. Know for old and future classics like People Under The Weather, Money in the Bank, The Homecoming, Monotony, So Northern, and most recently Sucker or Savvy and The Aim.
Asaviour has gained a huge following since his emergence onto the Hip-Hop scene . In 2007 he branched out with his own label “Saving Grace Music” to showcase "the future sounds" that were progressing from his stable.
With a fresh original approach to rhyming, untouchable flow and twist on content and how its delivered sets him apart from most of his more "traditional" counterparts. His productions skills place him far ahead of the pack and have taken him out of the hip hop scene allowing him to collaborate with a number of major artists in the music industry.
With a number of projects in the pipeline, various production works and features mean Asaviour's influence is set to spread across the scene even further. Quite simply Asaviour is raising the bar on a global scale.
DJIQ
Northwest London beat maker has been making huge waves in the scene. This man has been making beats for practically every gifted artist in this country and has a number of projects in the pipeline. His new Live from the sofa LP has gone down a storm, receiving rave reviews from Mojo, Dazed & Confused, Hip Hop connection DJ mag and many others
A DMC Champion and tour Dj to Jehst the man is in good company, his transition from Dj to Super Producer has been a seamless one supplying production to Dubbledge, Asaviour, Verb T, Kashmere, Skrien, Graziella, Jehst and many more up and coming artists.
THE MUSIC
The A loop Theory boasts a staggering list of guest vocals from, Kashmere, Kyza, Pride, TB, Dubbledge, Graziella, Thai Bo, Jehst, Verb T all production is handled by Asaviour and DJ IQ, Their combined production skills marks the growth from Hip Hip producers to Producers, and is a some what goodbye to “Uk Hip Hop” and a hello to a Sound that is so much more than the sum of its parts.
This album takes risks, pushes boundaries and experiments with sounds which aren’t normally heard in a hip hop song but somehow they work, They try things which most artists afraid to try within the genre. The level of originality is at a new high, while they still manage to create classic tracks that will stand the test of time. There vision is grandiose yet level headed, the infusion and incorporation of Synths, instruments, Home made samples and vocals seamlessly but never pointlessly.
From the statement of intent which is “Beefy”, The grimey anthem “Hustle & Hope” featuring Pride, Kyza and TB. The intelligent feel good vibe of “No days Off” featuring rising star Sir smurf Lil. The comical ode to sorting your life out “Nextweek” featuring Dubbledge (a sly nod to Talking Heads), Its quite obvious this album is something special. But they are far from finished there, the inevitable Uk Hip Hop anthem Gather Round feat Jehst shows an effortless (maybe arrogant!) attitude to microphone mastery which you have to love. You know when Asaviour and Jehst get on the mic together its going to be something special,
The masterpiece which is Golden featuring the amazing talents of Grazella can only be described as a Hip Hop ballard of epic proportions, Uber Groovement feat Thai Boi on the other hand is a laid back mid tempo electro cascade of sound, lush dreamy and totally infectious with material like this they show their versatility and the fact no genre can tie them down. The infusion of Jazz, Rock, Grime, Electro Soul to name a few spell and end to the typical UK Hip Hop sound.
This album is a huge leap forward musically and lyrically, another bench mark has been set, the envelope has been pushed, Prepare yourself.
