Diana's Blurbs |
About me:
A native of Canada, I was raised in LA but moved to London where I lived and worked for several years. Back now in the LA area.
Being an only child can have its advantages. I always had a vivid imagination and began writing when I was seven. Over the years, my stories became books and now screenplays. A science fiction addict, I also like horror and the supernatural/paranomal.
I wish I had the artistic ability to convey what I see in my mind - some of the sci-fi/fantasy artwork I see almost gives me chills as it's like someone has taken what I imagine and created a visual scenario. I'd love to travel in space-I'd definitely want a window seat. To look out and see another world-imagine the possibilities--
I decided to try my hand at screenwriting only last year and basically studied scripts of my favorite movies. My competition placings include:
Trapezoid placed Third in Blood Candy's Short Screenwriting Competition and as a semi-finalist in Gimme Credit's second phase Short Screenplay Competition.
