I don't really know how to make a list of interests. The very notion is patently preposterous if you think about it. How does one boil their interests down to a mere list of single words like skiing or history? Suppose my interest is 15th century Mongolian sword-making or German silent films of the 1920's--is that too specific? And what if it doesn't interest me anymore in 3 or 4 days? Do I change the profile or leave it alone in the hopes that I will once again become interested?
I like to read sometimes, but my attention span sucks. I like going to the movies, but usually not the movies themselves. I like THE JOKER!

Fuck yeah.
I like Taco Bell. I like pornography. I like wanton drug-use and those who live their lives with reckless abandon. I like cannibalism! I like girls with tattoos. I like love. I like hate. I like jerking off and cumming all over myself and feeling dirty. I like truth. I like Sarah and Britt and Chris and Cody. I like Samurai. I like making lists of things I like, apparently.
Marilyn Manson was the first band I ever liked. Before that, music was just sort of noise to me. He infused the noise with a certain style, a swaggering broken-footed death march with penis implants and a chemical somewhere between testosterone and estrogen. It appealed to my grotesque sensibilities, and it still does.
Bob Dylan. I have to be in the mood for it, but when I am, my enjoyment can be quite profound. My favorite song of his is a relentlessly gloomy and defeated track called "Things Have Changed." I could listen to that over and over again for all eternity and still like it.
Tom Waits. A voice like golems fucking. I love his voice and his esoteric lyrics, referencing people I've never met and who almost certainly never existed, but who somehow feel like family. My favorite lyric: "All the good in the world you could put into a thimble, and still have room for you and me."
Leonard Cohen. The undisputed greatest lyricist of all time, with an awesome voice to boot. It's like an earthquake is singing love songs to you. My favorite songs: There Is A War, I'm Your Man, The Future, Take This Waltz, By The Rivers Dark.
These artists are also notable: Mudvayne, Slipknot, Disturbed, VNVNation, Otep, Richard Wagner, Ludwig Von Beethoven, She Wants Revenge, System of A Down, Serj Tankian, Meatloaf, DZK, Immortal Technique, Sisters of Mercy, Cradle of Filth, Godhead, NIN, APC, Tenacious D, Tiny Tim, Dir En Grey, Rammstein.
"Unforgiven", "Seven Samurai", "Conan The Barbarian", "The Outlaw Josey Wales", "Batman Begins", "A Face In The Crowd", "The Matrix", "Fight Club", "A Fistful of Dollars", "For a Few Dollars More", "The Good The Bad & The Ugly", "The Man Who Knew Too Much", "The Crow", "Yujimbo", "Sanjuro", "Red Beard", "Rashomon", "The Seventh Seal", "3:10 To Yuma", "American Psycho", "American Beauty", "Harold & Maude", "Groundhog Day", "Kill Bill"
I'll add more as they occur to me.
"DEXTER", "Fullmetal Alchemist", "Southpark", "Family Guy"
I've no idea. My tastes are pretty shamelessly mainstream and cheesy. I love The Dresden Files books by Jim Butcher. The Lucifer Principle by Howard Bloom was a pretty big influence. Stephen King was pretty cool when I was younger and I still like his older books. H.P. Lovecraft is something of a minor god to me. I like the poetry of Edgar Allan Poe and Stephen Crane, but not their prose. Phillip K. Dick is always pretty badass. My friends Britt and Cody are both really good writers, and I love reading their stuff.
I'll add more as it occurs to me.
I think my friends are my heroes.
