A three piece rock and roll band from Liverpool, England fronted by lead guitarist and singer Paul Kappa backed up by bass player Martin Byrne and drummer Tony Smith. This band has been electrifying audiences at Liverpool's world famous Cavern in Mathew Street, playing to a packed house, with long queues outside hoping to get in to the (now legendary) three hour non-stop show, an essential part of the city's Saturday evening for the last couple of years.
Kappa made the studio album 'Living @ the End of the World' in 2003, followed by 'Accelerando'; the live album recorded in the Cavern, Liverpool in 2004. A DVD of the show 'Guitar Hero' written by Paul Kappa was produced in 2005 and
the Amazing Kappa has just completed a new studio album, "Electrical Storm" (tracks from which are being rotated on this page). The band has appeared on BBC television and radio, ITV, as well as MTV, WGN Chicago and Danish radio, and performed in England, Ireland, Spain, France, Switzerland, Sweden, and the United States.
Paul Kappa: Winner of the Liverpool Echo
Best Newcomer Award 1994.

Finally got to see play! twas at hotel california last sunday. What can I say? great show, great band, great playlist too. Was talking to this chick outside, commenting on your performance. She said "Yeah but when it's just him and his band, he's so full of himself!" I just pointed out that you've worked hard to get to where you are and that she shouldn't confuse confidence with arrogance!!
Hi Paul, its Scott.. Thanks for accepting our request. I have seen you play at The Cavern before & I was very impressed...
We are a new original rock band, we want to play to rock fans & was just letting you know if you need a band to support you anywhere, anytime, we can do it. We recently supported Led Zep Too at The Hotel California, it was great night had by all.
Good evening! I'll be starting a tour in the UK next week, and wanted to let you know.
You may have heard my guitar playing and not even realized it was me. I played with Buddy Holly, and when you listen to "It's So Easy" or "Heartbeat"...well, that is me.
We will play some of the Buddy Holly songs that i played on so many years ago, and a few more! I might even sing a couple.
I hope you can make one of the dates?
Best,
Tommy Allsup
