After my parents' death I was left in the care of my Uncle Ben and Aunt May. We lived in the Forest Hills neighborhood of Queens, New York City. I wasn't always the popular kid, in fact I was hated by those of my own age. Over time I grew to be a lonely, timid teenager who showed more interest in his studies and science in general than in any kind of social life. I was often the target of jokes by more popular fellow students like Flash Thompson, the high-school's star athlete.
Instead of being a pussy and shooting everyone in school I decided it was a better idea to get super-powers. This opportunity did not come until I was bitten by a vicious spider who left me with the super natural powers I always wanted. These powers busted my ego so much that after designing my own costume I became a wrestler to make some extra cash. My wrestling name was "Spider-Man" and everyone loved me! Unfortunately I let the fame get to my head and when I had a chance to stop a thief I chose to do nothing; I felt like I no longer had to look after anyone but myself. That same day Uncle Ben was killed. To my horror the murderer was the thief I had not stopped when I had the chance. At that moment I devoted myself to fight injustice and crime.
