Sounds Like
if peter paul and mary sang songs about outer space.
The two ragamuffins that, when combined, result in The Amelia Earharts met in Union Square Park one temperate August evening. They can usually be found in Greenwich Village, NYC, playing their hearts out and stumbling over ill-paved sidewalks to the beat of their favorite songs.
The Peaceable Kingdom E.P. was recorded in a magical castle on a mountaintop. Live at the Hootenanny (Spring 2008) was recorded at the Boston Hootenanny sometime a few months ago, but we honestly can't remember exactly when.
To buy either album send $5(suggested, but whatever you can afford) well-concealed cash to:

Thanks for the add, and for all you do to keep the music alive!
Hope to see you at Jalopy, March 26. We'll be there along with Peter Stampfel and Eli Smith. Bring your instruments and jam with us! Jack Radcliffe and “the gang” at Wepecket Island Records Rolling Roots Revue: 20 cities in 25 days, March 9 – April 4, 2009
A show in Connecticut would be absolutely wonderful! Please let me know if you hear of any other interesting shows in CT..I know Wingnut Dishwasher's Union is playing in Trumbull July 28th. If you are a fan, maybe I will see you there!
Also, I love the new song. Keep up the good work! <3
it's raining here right now. i figured i'd put on some good tunes and open the windows to relax. naturally, i came you your page. davis, i want to play in the rain again...
Davis...I miss you terribly...any plans for a trip back to MO? any time soon. I know NYC is fun and all, but we miss you. And there are people demanding a Supersonic Embryonic Polkadotted Rockabilly Fighter Pilots (SEPRFP) reunion tour. It's a cult phenomenon.
Your music is even better than it used to be. You;ve always been a good song writer. Hope i'll get to see you one of these days. Our days wandering the streets of CG seem like at least 3 lifetimes ago. We're all different people now. I'm not sure yet if that's a good thing, but there's not much we can do about it either. Maybe one of these days i'll get to visit you in NY...i;ve never been.
to my beloved earharts i would love this cd of yours! You guys are amazing and are two of the most adorable people ever!!! So cds are how much and when/where can i get one??
Well keep on going and being the kick ass duo that you two are, Sincerely Samantha
Hey Davis, what was the name of the band that you were in in Cape for awhile? I hear it on 103.7 all the time on the Local Spotlight...It has something to do with the word "Hoax" doesn't it? Let me know b/c it's driving me crazy. Also, I love the song so if you have it you should send it to me.
Also, I just watched "Juno" and it made me think of you and Liz b/c of all the Kimya Dawson songs...I miss you kiddo. Get in touch. I tried calling you and it wouldn't let me through. Call me. my number's on facebook.
