We wait……Patiently existing in a time when all around us shakes; fearing the impending darkness…..The End. It will be no end remembered gloriously. No end that will send tremors through the ages reminding of what once was. Only broken shards left behind by our heavy burden shall remain.
We wait……Fully aware that our decline is upon us, but blinded by apathy, greed, and disdain, we force onward toward certain doom. Our departure will play host to the reintroduction of an age of much simpler demeanor. Life will flourish without us.
We wait……For the final clinging remnants of our stagnant era to crumble into the depths; giving way to the savage, beautiful darkness…
