About me:

The Annex, located in the heart of Toronto, has long been a destination for artists, bands, nightlife and culture in the Bathurst and Bloor area. We’re proud to be welcomed into the mix with our unique taste of Live music and DJ Nights. BIG THANKS to the thousands of Torontonians and non- Torontonians alike, who’ve made us your party spot, week after week. We’re a fun alternative to the typical club scene, where you can still party, dance, and have tons of fun. This is your club, we just work here.

Like our name suggests, we draw in all styles, people, sights and sounds to make it a place you can call your own. Our staff has some of the most recognized faces in the city and also the friendliest.

Since our opening in February of 2007, we’ve grown bigger and better, offering a range of great events from raucus dance parties to intimate live indie music shows.

- Every Thursday is $3 THURSDAYS!: $3 DRINKS ALL NIGHT LONG! Students get here early, cause you get in FREE before 12, with student ID. You’ll want to dance into the wee hours of the morning with pop, rock and all the best party tunes. Thursday is the new Friday!

- Every Friday is WRECKROOM FRIDAYS: With student specials, big party anthems and all your favorite friends, on Fridays there’s always a happy ending!

- Every Saturday is POP ROCKS W/ djdwight: Two-time “Best Club DJ” award winner, longtime Edge live-to-air heavyweight and Saturday night resident. Saturdays in Toronto never sounded better with the tightest mix of Indie/Retro/Electro/AlternaPop/Remix with always a few surprises up his sleeve.

-We’re honoured to have hosted The Toronto Roller Derby League as their official Afterparty location 2 seasons running, The Longboarder’s Association Afterparties, Clubzone.com, Drummers In Exile, IndieCan Wednesdays, Record Release and Listening Parties courtesy of Universal Music Canada, and some killer shows courtesy of Noel and Intertia Entertainment who always brings in the hardest and sickest shows.

-Our kick-ass sponsors - Budweiser, Jagermeister, Jack Daniel’s, Southern Comfort, Steam Whistle, and Polar Ice (to name a few) keep the party going strong each week!


Owner Kenny Sprackman (of The Horseshoe, Lee’s Palace, X-Ray and The Isabella fame) looks forward to bringing his love of live music to the ‘hood.

“Toronto has one of the healthiest music scenes out there. I think there is always talent coming in. Do I talk to people whose kids are in the basement playing drums, yeah? I played in a garage band when I was a kid and that will never stop,” says Sprackman. “To run a club is a labor of love."


The Annex Wreckroom features a large performance stage, (pole and runway optional), premier sound and lighting, great acoustics and sight lines, a fully outfitted DJ booth, a big projection screen and several televisions. We also have a gaming and lounge are for the kid in you. In-house catering is available upon inquiry. We also have a VIP Area that can cater to a very large group exclusively as well as others for varying sizes of parties.

The Annex Wreckroom is located across from landmark Honest Ed’s and Bathurst Subway Station at the intersection of Bloor and Bathurst. Please, Don’t Drink And Drive because we like seeing you back here and safe each week. And of course, whenever you drink, please do it responsibly.
