The Anomalys are a NEGATIVE TEQUILA ROCK'N'ROLL SEX-trio. The guitarist and vocalist, known as Bone, has won his medals in the field for the last ten years, cruising through Europe with the infamous “Los Looches” and “the Amoks”, leaving audiences bewildered and in awe. The percussionist, referred to as Memme, has been seen on stages throughout Europe and the States for the same period of time, in various ensembles excelling in various NEGATIVE TEQUILA ROCK'N'ROLL SEX-genres, names like “Dexter” and “Surfhell”. They started to exchange and combine their musical visions in the late spring of 2005. In 2007 Bone and Memme decided to recruit young fresh blood and they found it in the form of Potlood, guitarist and smoker. Before entering the magical world of NEGATIVE TEQUILA ROCK'N'ROLL SEX, he has obtained experience in the European arena with "Heros & Zeros" and "Bong-o-Brains". Proficiency, in any art, comes with practice and perspiration. In the case of these three matured youngsters there is an astounding amount of sheer endless energy that very clearly is the breeding-ground and the up-to-date reason for them to whip out the breathtaking drag-strip sounds, as heard on their first recordings. The NEGATIVE TEQUILA ROCK'N'ROLL SEX-compositions they produced, recorded in a concentrated yet extatic two-days recording-session, give us the opportunity to observe the Anomalys’ facility for varying and adapting their interpretations to suit not only the instrumentation as limited as it is, but also the mood of every occasion.
