"Omaha's The Answer Team really struck a right chord this evening. The band's EP, Dead Letter Office, is a soundscape that is extremely easy to loose oneself in. I usually get bored with instrumental music and find thinking "wow, that was one really long song"…this demanded my attention and each song had its own personality. If you like what you hear, stop by the band's Myspace band and request the entire EP…it's FREE!"

Dead American pragmatist John Dewey tells us, "Every thinker puts some portion of the stable world in danger as soon as he begins to think." Ever since Omaha, Nebraska's The Answer team formed out of iron-and-steam hardcore melodic channel surfers South of No North, they've endangered the rapidly-crystallizing worlds of post-this and genetically-modified that, and have brought smiles to the faces of mid-19th century Britain and 21st century America. With their by-turns loud, dusty, elegant, explosive, subdued, catchy, fancy, dancy-pantsy rock tunes, they've released an EP that points to current and future greatness: 2008's Dead Letter Office.
From the windy opening strains of "Summer in the Rain," to the epiphanic "Dead Letter Office" and plane-crashing anonymity of "Untitled," the answers don't stop a-coming. Every question you've ever had: answered. Does God exist? Answered. The Answer Team prove genres are for losers, and happily craft international rock with the urgency of a child ditching school to play flowers-and-dynamite in a field "south of the South Dakota border."
Where are they going from here? Everywhere. What will they accomplish? Everything. Get on board the Answer Train. Get yourself some Answer Team.
