About The Antix

The Antix, formed in 2005 are a young five-piece indie grot band from west Yorkshire, described by thebeatsurrender.co.uk as "recalling Jefferson Airplane at their very best", and by a local music producer as "Blondie with balls"

They are heavily influenced by a number of rock and roll bands, old and new, including The Subways, Kings of Leon, The strokes, No Doubt, Wolfmother, White Stripes, Nirvana, etc. etc. etc.

Having just had released their first EP, Dare I, with Crash Records, followed up by a nationwide tour and music video, The Antix are now writing new material set to be released later in 2009. The EP can be bought on itunes.
