Isle of Wight Beatle facts:
i.) Three Beatles attended the Isle of Wight Festival in 69 to see Bob Dylan.
ii.) Paul McCartney's Auntie owned the 'Bow Bars,' now Liquid Lounge in Ryde. A place where The Apple Beatles have occasionally performed and it's reported that Lennon & McCartney once hitched down from Liverpool and performed as 'The Nerk Twins.' ....A name inspired by The Goons?
iii.) Ringo Starr filmed 'That'll Be The Day' with David Essex, Rory Storm and a few more notables at Puckpool Park Holiday camp where one of The Apple Beatles used to work.
Anyone got any more Isle of Wight connections?
