The 2nd release from Vancouver's math majors, is an avant-punk "Dark Side Of The Moon" of sorts, at times invoking the tech-rock artistry of Mars Volta and the stadium majesty of Led Zeppelin or Queen. Three songs from the album have recently featured in the Gemini Award winning CBC series "Make Some Noise". Featuring vocals from Gregory Adams (Winning/The Red Light Sting) and Lyn Heinemann (Portico).

The Approach's debut release garnered much acclaim in the press and topped many Canadian university stations such as CITR, CHSR, and CAPR, for numerous weeks.
THE APPROACH throws out the book on trio-rock convention and comes in through the out door and hides in your fridge. You then come along just wanting a thing of milk, and then they paste themselves onto your face. How do you like that, Approach-y face?
