The APT. Band was formed in October of 2005. The band originaly meet as three members. Allen Barton - lead singer / lead & rhythm guitar, Andrew Krupa - Bass, Josh Mincer - Drums. On June 23rd of 2006 Joel Mincer - rhythm guitar joined the band. Since the creation of the band, and the addition of a fourth member, our sound has become more defined and harder then ever.Allen Barton was born in Endicott, NY. Allen has been playing and singing for 20 years. He has played in bands ranging from the beaches of Florida to the town of Waverly in New York. His music was played on the radio in Florida. A half German Andrew Krupa was born in Waverly, NY. Over the last 5 years Andy has played in three different bands ( TSA,Dire Wolf, and the APT. ) teaching himself a unique style on the acoustic bass. Joel Mincer born in Waverly, NY originaly played bass starting at the age of 15. He recently picked up the guitar in April of 06. The APT. is Joel's third band, previous bands include TSA, and M3. Josh Mincer born in Waverly, NY. He has been playing the drums for 8 years. His previous bands include TSA, and M3. As a whole the band defines thier sound through the different musical influences. O yeah and the name. The bands name came from a duplex in Waverly, NY. Andy and some of the APT. crew lived in half of it for 3 years. The entire time living there was non-stop partying and crazy nights. After awhile of being there we nick-named it the APT. (short for apartment :) ).
