The Archetypes are four dudes from New York who play garage rock for fun. The group has played at venues like the Bowery Poetry Club, the Tank, the Bushwick Starr, Sullivan Hall, and that other lame place (Don Hill's). They are working on releasing an album before they part ways for college in order to immortalize their glorious sounds... of doom!
Email archetypesnyc@gmail.com for booking; we want to play all ages shows or parties at your house!
Also, we have a website and a group on facebook for those of you who are into that.
oh yeah, and all our songs are up here too in case you want to listen to something that's not on myspace
hey, i love your music, the singer sounds so similar to my imaginary friend Jimmy, it's crazy. he looks like a dork wad in your profile picture, but i guess he just gets into it, and he's pretty hot so that's cool. once again i must say you guys are very talented. keep up the good work.
The new tracks sound awesome. I was really surprised to hear my half-ass cowbell solo on there. You can actually hear someone shouting, "John Morgan!" at the end of "Something Else". HAHA.
I hate to see "Arctic Suntan" go, though. Had to be my favorite.
hey guys. i was wondering if yu guys ( at any show of yours) had an opening for another band we're definetly up for it. so let us know if you guys are playing anywhere where you need another band for that night. cheers guys, jona
