Matt O’Connor, Managing Director of The A&R Department, has had over 20 years of hit-making experience and his artists have sold around 1 million records. He is the “song doctor” – the A&R expert who can take a song and ensure it reaches its full commercial potential. His ARIA track record includes 17 top 10 records, 12 top 20 records and 16 top 40 records.
1) SONGS and SOUND: It all starts with the song. We work with our artists through rehearsals and live performance to ensure their music will allow the artist to achieve its goals. We then determine the right sonic direction for the project, and build a strong creative team, bringing in the industry's top producers and engineers to achieve it.
2) DIGITAL MARKETING: We devise and execute a strategically timed grassroots below-the-line marketing strategy, boosting your presence on MySpace, Facebook, Last.fm, imeem, Bebo, etc. and increasing the demand for your music upon its release.
3) DISTRIBUTION & TOURING: We help to find the right distribution partner for the release of the album/EP/single, servicing both independent distributors and major labels. We also assist in devising a touring strategy that will best compliment the marketing of the album.
How we charge: We are extremely flexible and work to your budget, charging either via an hourly rate or a monthly retainer.

Returning from LA where they recorded their debut album with Christian Olde Wolbers (Fear Factory,God Forbid,Threat Signal,Mnemic) Sydney’s industrial metal demons Our Last Enemy are back in the country for a run of pre-release promo dates.
With the band signing a record deal last year with Riot! before leaving, the album is set for a national release in the later half of 09.
